Hamlet Inn, Southampton

My stay at the hotel was an overall pleasant experience. The room, although spacious, could have been more reasonably priced, but it was larger than expected. The minimal furnishings and poor lighting made reading a book challenging, and I had to make the bed myself for safety reasons. On the bright side, the staff provided exceptional service, being very friendly, accommodating, and willing to share local information. The location was convenient, albeit a bit isolated, between Southampton and Hampton Bay. The dining options were satisfactory, offering basic breakfast items, but with room for improvement. The facilities were decent, providing the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

The staff's service was exceptional, with Denise and Molly going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The location, nestled between Southampton and Hampton Bay, offered a peaceful and beautiful setting that was just minutes away from all the main attractions. The dining experience, though limited on weekdays, was made up for by the helpful staff guiding us to local delights. Overall, a delightful and relaxing stay with only minor room for improvement.

Upon entering my room, I discovered it was already occupied, but once that was sorted, I was delighted to find it overlooking the park belonging to the inn. The room was spacious and well-appointed, offering a comfortable stay. The service was lovely and accommodating, with helpful tips about places to eat and drive around Long Island. The location was perfect, situated right between Southampton and Hampton Bay. The dining options were average, though could improve with more variety and fresh fruit. The facilities were adequate for an enjoyable stay.
